Middle School Math integrates technology in order to enhance student engagement! The 6th grade practices estimating decimal products using the SMARTBoard!
“Teamwork makes the dream work!” Middle school students sporting teamwork and athleticism while playing soccer in PE.
Science meets Art! Students learned that a color wheel is an abstract illustrative organization of color hues around a circle, which shows the relationships between primary colors, secondary colors, and tertiary colors. They painted & mixed the colors on their own color wheel!
Archimedes Principle states that the upward buoyant force that is exerted on a body immersed in a fluid is equal to the weight of the fluid that the body pushes away. The students used foil spheres of different diameters to figure out the density, and buoyancy of each sphere.
PK students celebrate all of the things that make them special through an engaging Language Arts Project! Students collect items that represent them in a ME Bag! A special drawing in the class journal will result in a collection of everything that makes PK amazing!

Monarch Watch! The 1st Grade has been busy learning about Metamorphosis & Migration by raising Monarchs in the classroom! They released 5 Monarchs to date.
Reading can take you places you haven’t been before~our amazing librarian Mrs. Green, takes SMP students on reading adventures weekly!

of the Sunshine Rotary Club of Denville. In a gesture of volunteerism, each student, the teacher, and the school library were gifted with dictionaries! Grades 6-8 STEM~Students will figure out how to get a marble from point A to point B around a center wall using only right angles to bounce off of (reflect as light would) in order to travel. Rectangular blocks & marbles were used for hands-on experimentation (trial and error). |
