The mission of The Center for Early Childhood Education at St. Mary's Prep is to provide an exceptional early learning experience for children in a safe, nurturing Catholic environment through guided exploration, interaction and play.

St. Mary's Prep Preschool provides a safe, friendly, nurturing environment which supports a child wants and needs. We offer an opportunity to develop their natural creativity and develop a love of learning. Each day is balanced with opportunities for discovery and generous outdoor playtime.

We offer a strong foundation of social, emotional, physical and cognitive skills. We use or large and small motor skills in our everyday learning which prepares our children for Kindergarten.

Children learn manners and respect for themselves and others.

Our cognitive skills include sequencing and matching, story telling and practice writing. We work with numbers 1-20 and letter sounds. We sing and we dance.

We help develop self-confidence and practice decision making. We encourage children to progress at their own pace according to their abilities. Learning should be fun as well as rewarding.
